Send your neighborhood or town, what is wrong and when it started. You may attach photos taken without dismantling or touching the installation.
We agree on a day and time window. If photos are not enough, I inspect the installation in person.
We record the tasks, labor and included materials in writing. Any additional work is discussed before it is carried out.
I work in Montevideo. Visits to other cities, such as Punta del Este, can also be arranged. Availability and travel costs outside Montevideo are agreed in advance.
Before visiting, I explain the planned assessment and whether any additional paid diagnostic work is needed.
You can request an itemized scope to share with the landlord or building management and arrange approval before starting. You do not need to decide on a full renovation at the first enquiry.
About me
My father is also an electrician. As a child, I went with him on apartment repair jobs and learned about the trade firsthand. I have always enjoyed working with my hands: understanding why something does not work, finding the fault and getting it working again.
My experience includes electrical work in apartments and private homes, industrial plants and field camps. It has taught me to pay attention to detail and find a solution suited to each job.
I spent several years doing repair work in Russia, carrying out electrical installations, restoring wiring and resolving faults in residential properties.
I worked at mines operated by mining companies in Khabarovsk, Russia. As part of a crew, I maintained conveyor lines and electrical substations. I completed workplace training to attain the third skill grade in the Russian vocational system.
During my military service in 2013, I was the main electrician for a battalion field camp of around 500 people. I was responsible for maintaining its power supply and servicing a mobile power station mounted on a ZIL truck. I repaired electrical equipment in vehicles and accommodation and service modules, restored building wiring and prepared equipment for commissioning.
I hold a diploma in Electric Power Stations, Networks and Systems. I also worked in industrial rope access for one year and hold a certificate of course completion.
Help around the home
I can also help with small plastering jobs, wall repairs and mould treatment. First we assess the surface and the possible cause of damp, then agree on suitable work and a price.
If a leak or another building issue is responsible, surface treatment alone is not enough: the moisture source also needs to be addressed. Send photos so we can discuss the job.
